State social order introduced in the Republic of Belarus

According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Revised Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Social Servicing” came into effect on January 1, 2013, БЕЛТА writes.
- Social patronage – support to people in a tight situation;
- Social and rehabilitation services – a set of measures to improve living standard of the population, in particular, through creation of conditions for independent life and integration into the society;
- Accompanied life services– for orphans and children deprived of parental care: social and labour adaptation, widening social ties, identification of optimal ways of arranging independent life, preparation to independent live outside rehabilitation residential accommodation;
- Social respite service – temporary acquittal of parents from care for their disabled child for a certain period of time.
The new Law clearly specified the social servicing system. The document identifies the categories of population entitled for social servicing, grounds for rendering social services.
The forms of social servicing were specified at the legislative level, their contents was developed.
