Start of the project “UNESCO Clubs in action”

Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs (BelAU) launches the humanitarian cooperation project “UNESCO Clubs in Action”. The project will be implemented in 2016 in Minsk and all regions of the Republic of Belarus.

The project purpose is to increase the role of UNESCO Clubs in pursuing youth policy at the regional, national and international levels.

The project provides for conduct of seminars, roundtables, remote consulting on partnership development, elaboration of new informational projects, update of the Association’s database of documents, etc.

The project’s final event will be the European Congress of UNESCO clubs, centers and associations (11-13 November 2016, Minsk) with the participation of 20 national federations of UNESCO clubs, centers and associations from Europe, as well as partners from the USA, India, China, Kazakhstan.

The project manager is Dmitry Subtselny.

The project will be implemented within the program “Strengthening the capacity of joint initiatives” with the support of Eurasia Foundation at the expense of funds allocated by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
